Prelude Sunday at 11:00: O How Amiable R. Vaughan Williams (1872-1958)
O how amiable are thy dwellings: O Lord of hosts!
My soul hath a desire and longing to enter into the courts of the Lord:
My heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God.
Yea, the sparrow hath found her an house,
and the swallow a nest where she may lay her young:
even thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God.
Blessed are they that dwell in thy house:
They will alway be praising thee.
The glorious Majesty of the Lord our God be upon us:
prosper thou the work of our hands upon us.
O prosper thou our handywork.
O God, our help in ages past,
Our help for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast, And our eternal home.
Communion 2 Sunday at 11:00: Day by Day Arthur Biggs, (1906-1954)
[Prayer of St. Richard of Chichester]
Day by Day Dear Lord of Thee, three things I pray,
To see Thee more clearly,
Love Thee more dearly,
follow Thee more nearly,
Day by Day.
Postlude: Symphonie 2 VI. Finale Charles-Marie Widor (1844-1937)
